Maraethra is a fabric accessory brand founded by South Korean textile print designer Yooji. The name Maraethra comes from Latin: mare meaning “sea” and aethra meaning “sky.” Just like the sky that gently embraces from above and the sea that touches the deep and quiet within, the brand seeks to create pieces that bring a sense of calm, depth, and healing. Each design begins with Yooji’s original hand-drawn artwork, inspired by mandalas, elements of nature, and moments of inner reflection.
